Abergavenny Arms
Welcome to the Abergavenny Arms
The Abergavenny Arms is a traditional, family run pub and restaurant, originally a coaching inn believed to date back to the 15th century, recently taken over by new owners Paul Gibbons and Penny Mullis who have many years experience in the pub, restaurant and B&B trade.
Our menu is changed daily, including vegetarian choices and our food is prepared freshly from as many local sources as possible. There is a 'special price' two or three course menu available Monday to Friday from midday to early evening. Our full menu is available all day, every day and traditional roasts on Sundays. We offer morning coffee and afternoon teas (cream teas with home-made scones are a speciality!)
Bed and breakfast is on offer in our three spacious but 'quaint' bedrooms and lunch and dinner can be taken by guests in the pub restaurant up to 9.30pm.
LocationThe Abergavenny is situated just over the Kent border in a beautiful area of East Sussex, on the main A267 Tunbridge Wells to Eastbourne road, just a mile and half outside the spa town. Frant is a charming village with a 'High Street' full of traditional English cottages. From Frant you can visit many beautiful small towns and villages in Kent and East Sussex. The sunny seaside town of Eastbourne is a 35 minute drive which takes you into 'William the Conqueror' country.
