Welcome to the Abergavenny Arms at Frant
The Abergavenny Arms is a traditional pub and restaurant, originally a coaching inn believed to date back to the 15th century. We have two bar/eating areas both with open log fires ( lit at the first sign of a chill in the air !), where you can eat, drink and relax. There is also a 30 seat restaurant which is suitable for private parties/small functions. We have a great, secluded deck outside which is a real suntrap and a super place to have lunch or supper. We offer free WiFi to our customers. Dogs welcome.
Our menu is a mixture of traditional English and Modern European cuisine. Fresh Orkney Mussels and Cornish Lobster are on offer whenever in season. Our food is freshly prepared and locally sourced wherever possible. Our full menu is available all day, every day and traditional roasts are served on Sundays, also throughout the day.
We can also cater for private parties and funeral lunches/teas.
There is a 'special price' 2 or 3 course menu available Monday to Friday (midday to early evening). We also offer morning coffee and afternoon teas (cream teas with home-made scones are a speciality!) Orders for food are usually taken up to 9pm Monday to Sat and 8.30pm on Sunday evening. Wednesday night is Curry Night! Our Chef is now offering freshly made delicious curries with all the trimmings. This is served alongside our normal menu.
Normal opening hours are 11am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and from 12pm Sundays.
Bed and Breakfast is no longer available at the Abergavenny Arms.
